Is your child passionate about singing? Our specially designed vocal classes for kids ages 6-9) will help them enhance their singing abilities and gain valuable vocal techniques.
Students will learn:
Vocal Technique Breathing, pitch, tone, range and healthy singing habits
Confidence Building Build confidence through solo and group singing in a supportive environment .
Song Performance: Learn how to sing with emotion, expression and strong stage presence.
Stage Presence & Microphone Skills: . Practice performing with confidence while developing performance skills.
Final Mini Showcase:Students will perform for family and friends in the final class!.
Tate is a professional opera singer, vocalist, performer, and voice/piano instructor with experience in opera, musical theater and contemporary music. She has performed leading opera roles, appeared in Phantom of the Opera and Grease, and has sung alongside Andrea Bocelli at the Hollywood Bowl.
Tate is passionate about helping young singers build confidence, technique and a love for music in a fun and supportive environment.

Professional Experience / Training & Education
A specialist in vocal styles, Stephanie has built a dynamic career as a professional session singer and voice-over artist. She has performed as a backing vocalist for legendary performers including Cyndi Lauper, Taylor Dayne, Sandra Bernhard, Nancy Sinatra, Ana Gasteyer, and many more. Her stage credits include Broadway National Tours, European and regional musical theater productions, and appearances at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Stephanie earned her BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Directing from the prestigious Boston Conservatory at Berklee/Berklee College of Music.

Professional Experience / Training & Education
Darnell’s performance career has been recognized by audiences worldwide for its depth and versatility. In addition to starring in major Broadway productions such as Hamilton and The Lion King, he has performed alongside Grammy,Emmy, and Tony Award-winning artists on concert stages across the country.
Beyond Broadway, Darnell has been featured as a solo artist on Bandai Namco’s best-selling Tekken 7 soundtrack, which has sold millions of copies worldwide. His work spans musical theater, live performance, artistry, and arts education.
Darnell earned his Master’s Degree from Manhattan School of Music, where he refined his expertise in vocal performance, artistry, and musical interpretation.
His professional experience combines elite performance, training with years of teaching, mentorship, and masterclass instruction throughout the United States and internationally.

Kat, the founder of Voice Academy NYC, discovered her passion for teaching others to sing and has since dedicated her career to it. Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Kat is an accomplished singer, songwriter and performer.
