KIDS GROUP VOCAL COURSES
Singing in a group class environment: Vocal group classes are fun, energetic, informative – a great place to begin your child’s vocal journey! Watch them blossom and gain confidence, self-awareness, social skills, and learn about emotions while developing technical vocal and performance skills. Voice Academy Kids and Young teens ages 7-15. (For teens, please see our adult group classes)
4-week course | Online via Zoom |Age 7-11| Age 10-12 | Semi Private (Max: 4 students)
A 4-week mini course where students build a foundation centered on our proven vocal techniques. Students will learn to sing with proper technique and individual instruction will be given. Songs are performed in class with backing tracks and each class begins with breathing and vocal warm-ups and scales on piano. Please pick a song before class starts! Class is great for all levels and customized to fit students needs and goals! Class can be renewed after the cycle
Open Level: Age: 13-15-Mondays, 4:30pm-5:30pm

Student pick what song they want to work on and we will work on proper breath support, pitch and rhythm, expand your vocal range and how to sing with emotions and find your unique voice!

Kat founded Voice Academy NYC once she discovered her knack for teaching people how to sing better. Born, raised and educated in Stockholm, Sweden, Kat has also been an active singer/songwriter/performer who also works with several production companies and record labels to find, develop and nurture musical talent from kids to adults, with a long list of student achievements that prove results.

Kids Vocal Workshop
This class is designed for kids (age 7-12) who wish to improve their singing abilities and gain valuable vocal techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to take your singing to the next level, all styles are welcome. The class will begin with group warm-ups and then move on to individual and group performance work. Students will focus on voice technique, song performance, and stage presence, learning how to sing with confidence and express emotions through their singing.

Teaches Pop, Musical Theater, Opera and Song Performance
Tate Chu is a “Tate is a professional opera singer, vocalist, performer, and voice/piano instructor from beautiful San Diego, California. Classically trained, she has sung the great soprano roles from Musetta (La bohème) and Gilda (Rigoletto) to her upcoming performance as Nedda (I Pagliacci) with Opera New York. Tate has performed in musicals such as Phantom of the Opera (Carlotta), Grease (Rizzo), and Once on This Island (Mama Euralie) and stage directed multiple productions as founder of her company The CoOperative. She has sung alongside Andrea Bocelli (Hollywood Bowl),
